Research

My research focuses on spatial and spatiotemporal data analysis, with an emphasis on mapping, visualization, knowledge extraction, and the development of analytical pipelines for complex geospatial data. Across different applications, I study how spatial patterns, temporal dynamics, and statistical structure can be modeled, harmonized, and interpreted for research and decision support. Current and recent work spans multidecadal land-use and land-cover dynamics, data harmonization, knowledge models and semantics, and planetary surface age estimation based on impact-crater statistics and spatial clustering.

R1 / Projects

Funded Projects / NCCU / Taiwan

Current work focuses on land-use and land-cover dynamics, ecosystem-service provision, rural transformation, and spatial decision support in Taiwan. Earlier and parallel work extends these analytical approaches to cartographic metadata, semantic models, and planetary surface studies.
